Millie’s Story:
How an MRI saved Millie’s eye sight and the ability to walk.


October 2010:
Millie was 5yrs old and she came home from school on Friday afternoon complaining about having a headache. She was giving some pain relief medication and allowed to sleep it off. This was start of a 3 month inpatient stay within RBHSC.

Without the MRI scans we would not have been able to diagnose and treat this very rare condition and save Millie’s eye sight and walking.
